Grandpa was my very first sculpt I ever did, 8 years ago. From him I went to babies a few years later.

"My Twin & I"
This is a portrait sculpt of my Mother and her twin Sister, I created for her 80th birthday. I had only two b&w photo's to sculpt from and I copied the dresses they were wearing in the photo's along with long stockings and shoes. I had each of their names engraved on a plaque and called the piece of art "My Twin & I". Her twin sister died when she was 5 years old, so when I presented this to my Mother it was a very touching moment. Even though this is one of my earlier pieces of art and I see I have improved a great deal since, this is by far the most memorable one.

My daughter asked me to do this baby for her friends. He was born with a birth defect but by far does not take away from his good looks. She presented it to them one Christmas. You will be a handsome boy Colby!!!
